David Eddings passed away yesterday. I've just written the memorial post for Tor.com ; it'll be up later today. There are things in Eddings' writing that I really liked very much, and it's no bad thing to reflect on them.

Now to sort of restabilize myself and see what else the day holds.

Been a while. Been even longer while since I specifically shopped for things that would look good and be suitable for outdoors, rather than for almost exclusive use only here at Chez Me. Mom introduced me to One Stop Plus, which mostly sells women's things in larger sizes but turns out to have an excellent selection of larger sizes for men. So I could upgrade all sorts of stuff that really needed it.
