Ah, the news is out. Patrick Nielsen Hayden has recruited me for an upcoming mult-author blog thing to be hosted by Tor Books. You can read about it in this introductory post, and find out how to sign up for free books to boot, and who doesn't like free books, I ask you?
I'm really looking forward to this. I'll be blogging about gaming, widely construed - roleplaying games, of course, but computer games, board games, whatever it seems like I can make a case for. Obviously some of you reading this are in a position to think a thought like, "Hey, I have a professional connection to something that science fiction/fantasy fans of eclectic taste would like to know about." I encourage you to act on that thought by pinging me, publicly or privately (bbaugh@mac.com is ready to take your mail). I already plan an interview with my old buddy Rob Heinsoo about this obscure project he's been working on lately for one of the small presses in the Seattle area, for instance. :)
I'm guessing that I'll end up writing a mix of reviews, interviews, random rants, commentary-type news, and the usual odds and ends. But we'll see how it goes - there's a definite air of inventing as we go with this, which makes me happy.

This could be the next Out of the Box. If you're up for it, once you find your feet, I'm betting a ton of folks would love to start comping you games. ;)
Yeah, I read that announcement this morning and seeing you involved in this project left me dead chuffed. Not to suck up, but I've long enjoyed your contributions on various blogs about fannish matters.
Congrats.
Congrats.
Very exciting. I've received permission from the Impresario to tease my own involvement this evening too, which is fun. I have not mentioned c*m*c* specifically though.
You know where I am in the unlikely event that I can be of any assistance to you.
it sounds like a great deal of fun to read. congrats, and hope you'll enjoy the gig!
